1) Yes, CyanogenMod works well

3) Yep, it's got Android and Bluetooth so those will work
4) The GPU is decently powerful. Stock firmware and modded ROMs have support for the Shield Controller (which is lower latency than Bluetooth). Some games are Shield Exclusive. This tablet has the least OpenGL and Vulkan support of any Android device since Qualcomm is kinda shitty and the rest are worse.

I just use it to watch videos and browse leddit. Screen has no major flaws and stereo front-facing speakers are nice. Battery life in CyanogenMod is okay but not great.

It's an extremely popular custom ROM that gets ported to everything.
It's essentially stock Android with a few nice custom tweaks like a better music player and DSP built in, Root support built in (you don't need a root manager like SuperSU), theme engine, some extra customization options, etc.

1. Not as far as I'm aware, but I use Nvidia GPUs so I never looked tremendously hard.
2. Yes, just add it as a non-steam game and launch it from big picture.

It's not particularly special aside from the Nvidia exclusive stuff, just a really nice Android tablet. You can play Half-Life 2 and Portal on it, that's something you can't really do with other android devices.

Honestly just being a really nice android tablet seems great. It also has microusb support which is great.

It also seems to have HDMI out and front facing speakers which seems awesome. I'm excited for it to come in.

The stylus on the Shield Tablet isn't very accurate since it's just capacitive, but it's not much worse than other non-Wacom styluses. I think you can mod it into the K1 but it doesn't come stock even though there's still an internal slot for it.

It's the biggest ROM, and one of the oldest and most resilient. It's the base that most other "stock" ROMs use. If you have heard of ROMs but not of CyanogenMod then I would be surprised.
