it's good even if it only has 4gb
>>57662216
For a mother, who's likely only to browse internets, skype, and stuff, it's fine.

im more inclined to the 2 in 1 tablets for nonteck people

It's good. Don't listen to this >>57662282, you don't need more than 4GB unless she games anything more resource heavy than LoL, and I doubt she games at all. 128GB is good enough considering Windows + office + basic software only takes 32GB space. If you're gonna leave her with w10 make sure you use anti-beacon and disable updates as they can leave a 50GB pile of useless shit and destroy your SSD.

come on guy , 4gb is barely enough, it might be good for a tablet but not for a pc
>>57662421
and if she has more than 3 tabs opened in chrome shes basicaly choking the laptop
>>57662421
8gigs minimum, especially with a bloattop like in OP

Pff I had 4gb of ram in my desktop with win10 and Linux dual boot until last year and the only time it wasn't enough was when I played dota2 on Linux and it started to swap like mad.

When I tried multiple tabs on thinkpad it froze though, but I don't think that was a ram issue, probably the processor, also most of time I have multiple instances of chrome with many more tabs open. never causes too much lag.
