It's been one year since the new Google logo replaced the old.

How do you like it now?
>>

I liked the old logo better.

But I never go to Google.com anyways so it doesn't affect me.

It makes me feel cold and empty
>>
>>57645256
serifs are so much better in this situation
>>
New logo was always fine to me. It's the new favicon that's shit.

>first they came for the cursive
>then the came for the serifs
>now everything is CIA nigger writing

fuck, now I know how China felt when they were forced to use Simplifed Chinese
>>

I guess it was a right move forward.

They already reached the peak at the flat colored serif logo already by that time, so it only made sense. Mind you, I really disliked that they moved away from those serif contours, but if they didn't, they would be stuck on that same shape they already fleshed out and still would have to make that kind of transition anyway. That's what they must've been thinking.

What really grinds my gears though is that they still can't accept the fact that their app icons will not have the same shapes ever.
Instead of putting more emphasis on consistency of their designs, they decide to put all of their icons in a circle this time. Truly a beta test company.

I still occasionally close google search tabs because the favicon makes me mistake them for some clickbait site.
It just looks cheap.

But fuck, one year?
I don't believe.

It's shit
>>
>>57645256
Did they really need to make it look like something you'd see printed on a fisher-price toy?
>>
>>57645366
Literally this what the fuck
>>
I don't use google products and I replaced google's search engine with Bing
>>
It's kinda childlike, inspiring trust and creativity
It's so cute that they just want to sell me things.

Whether officially or not, he had been keeping some company that placed him very close to Washington, DC, including a well-documented relationship with President Obama. Not only had Hillary Clinton’s people known that Eric Schmidt’s partner had visited me, but they had also elected to use her as a back channel.
