can literally anyone here show me a picture of your 21:9 monitor doing any text-based work? i've heard it's good for rendering, and that may be true, but i hear so many people give me this horse shit about it being good for spreadsheets and shit without ever showing me that they're serious about this claim.

get a 16:10 (or if you must, a 16:10) monitor and put it in orientation mode when you want to work. if you code, read, or write anything, this is a great setup. the next step for monitors isn't this ultrawide gaming shit; it's in higher pixel densities for sharper text and other assets.

OP make sure you can drive whatever res it is you go with. Not directly related to this monitor, but 4k takes a massive amount of power to do any graphics intensive work on.
