Consuming sugary water can give your body the energy it needs to keep going.

In my case, I only eat twice a day now and lost some spare tires around my abdominal area because of steroid treatment years back. (autoimmune)
Health improved dramatically from eating less.
I also switched my meals around, breakfast is now biggest, dinner a simple 3-6 item dealio, small-medium portions.
I also skip 2 of those meals a week, and only eat a small breakfast, for the sake of fasting. (once on thursday/friday, other on monday since that is when we get shopping)
That also improved my overall health. No longer ill thanks to it. The fasting helps the body recycle damaged cells then rebuild new ones next time you eat.

Pretty much. When you look at it he built an entire research OS, and built software on top of that OS that is stable. It was probably far cheaper to give Terry disability his entire life than the public funds given to a research associate that half asses a crusty bit of proof of concept that falls apart if you were to run hello world on top of it.

People kind of miss the point that Terry's OS is like Plan 9, you can see a different vision of what an OS can be like and learn from it.

If I ever find myself to be completely unemployable and on NEETbux, I will spend time trying to port TempleOS to ARM. I do know x86 and ARM assembly, and have written a small kernel before.
For now I haven't given up hope on employment yet.
