I've been using Razer Deathadder mice for the last 6 years, and although I love the way they feel, it seems like I have to replace them every 2 years or so. My current one is starting to wear out and I was thinking of buying the Elite, but $70 is a bit steep if I'm going to end up replacing it soon anyway. Are there any better, more durable options out there or should I just spring for either this or a cheaper model since I am already so used to it?

The fuck do you do to your mouse? I'm still using a 4 year old acer wireless k/m combo from 4 years ago without issue.

It stays in use for about 12 hours a day. Every day.

Get a cheap chink mouse to use when you don't need the deathadder, then it'll last longer.

Currently using a cheap replacement and it just isn't the same, I'd rather replace the mouse every couple years than switch between a good one and a cheap one. Which is why I'm looking for a more durable replacement.
ducky just put out a new model pbt mouse with jap switches
that should be able to handle heavy abuse
Just repair your god damn mouse instead of buying a new one you lazy fuck.

I guess you know how to find new parts without buying an entire goddamn mouse?

Razer designs their mouse to break down a bit after 2 years when the warranty is out.
I assume you're into gaymen, this is a good list I think http://www.rocketjumpninja.com/top-20/. He also get into hand size and grip type too help pick a more comfortable mouse.
Anyone else still got the original razer diamond back? I have.

Thanks, I'll check this out. I've always heard Razer products don't last very long, now is a good time to try something new.

I've been using my g500 for about 8 years daily. Haven't had a single issue yet.
