I'm finally getting around to building an overkill gaming pc and don't really have any knowledge of parts and stuff.
Is this list of parts a good way to go for a high end pc? or is there some things that are unnecessary or bad?

the only difference being the link I posted has better memory and yours has more space right? I was thinking of dropping ssd and getting another tb of hhd but like I said I don't really know too much. I think I will burn through that 1tb too quick though

actually looking back at this build it seems pretty solid, but the asus motherboard has mixed reviews so I'm kind of skeptical about that

SLI/Crossfire is pretty much dead.
Developers are straying away from it.

should add GTX 1080 for G-SYNC
>>57618142
1080 is way overpriced and will drop by >30% the moment AMD finally pushes Vega out the door (between Jan and March hopefully).
Expect 1080 Ti to outperform 1080 by ~20% and hopefully not cost so fucking much.
Waiting for AMD's shit to drop is probably a good idea even if you're already committed to an Intel/Nvidia build.
>>57619005
you think the 1080ti will get bundled with some free game when it comes out? and yeah wasn't planning in getting the 1080
>>57619068
It all depends on how much Nvidia and their partners panic.
980 Ti was way overbuilt and had some good offers since they didn't anticipate Fiji/Fury having some substantial deficiencies.
