Thing is though, a phone rooted and decent software installed on it can act as a really nice portable computer.
A decent phone that is, not some cheapo shit in /csg/ threads.

Phones can have adaptors plugged in to give you ports for keyboards, external storage, mouse and whatever else.
Most importantly, screencasting to monitors.
Just phone during walking and out, come home, plug adaptor in, suddenly all your shit on 4k screen, sorted.

I don't actually use phones myself, but they definitely are decent for a PC replacement if you don't do intense graphics work like gaming, or CPU-intense VMing, or depend on Windows-only software.

IMO the ideal thinkphone would have industrial grade hardware from drops, water and shit, have the same rollcage, a matte touch back like the laptops, and a trackpoint that acted like the trackballs oldschool Android phones had, maybe a slide out keyboard too
