What's the best lightweight browser with support for ad blocking? I have K-Meleon but even adblock plus only supports an older version.

Midori.

Runs like total garbage on my machine

Install solus.
I'm using a Turionx2 and it runs great.
What distro? I was on Fedora and Midori kept crashing every few minutes, but on Solus it's actually very stable
>>57576903
It runs like total garbage on every machine, it has been hilariously broken for years now.
>>57576947
I can't install Solus. I'm using Windows 7.
>>57576903
Also, why not just use the older m-meleon? What's the newer ones offer that you need over the older one?
>>57576951
I thought so too, I'm amazed that it works on Solus.
>inb4 shill
No, just an impressed normie.
>>57576961
>windows 7
Whyyyy, that's so bloated compared to almost every Linux distro.

The last version supported by ABP is 1.6 from 2010, that's why. I'm using W7 becaue it was on here and SecureBoot is enabled. Can't disable it because the Admin password is forgotten. It's just a garage machine I use for looking up shit but a lot of webites bring this thing to a crawl with their ad networks.

Well since I can't recommend Midori on anything but Solus, I'm stumped.
Have you tried Opera? That's what I used to use on Fedora and it was pretty smooth with a few tabs open and YouTube.
>>57577050
No, I haven't. I thought the new versions were garbage?
>>57577071
Nah, it's pretty good. Built in adblock and vpn and stuff. Runs better than firefox and chrome on low end hardware despite being a reskinned chromium apparently.
I recommend giving it a try, you could always delete if you don't like. Unlike midori though, these chrome based browsers really like to consume RAM.

Yea runs like shit.
>>57576836
Midori

Are you retarded?
