What email client does /g/ recommend to replace Thunderbird? I've heard Claws Mail is good, but I remember having some issues with it when I used it before I used Thunderbird. I love how the icon has that weird mid-00s feel though.

Isn't it going EOL? Also, Mozilla has been a bit fucky lately.
I switched to Claws-mail a few months ago when Thunderbird updated and I literally couldn't figure out how to log in anymore.
Poor Mozilla - Furthest fall from grace I've ever witnessed or been a part of.
Claws-mail is great though.
In earlier versions, there was a retarded default setting that caused encrypted emails to be saved as plaintext to the server somehow - It's since been changed for version 3.14.

will help you set you folders up so they make sense.

I use claws-mail.
It's lighter than Thunderbird and works nicely, I like it.
There are also text based mail clients for the terminal like Alpine or Mutt. I like that they're lightweight, but they don't work that well. Some messages don't get displayed right.
I use the Windows Mail app thing.
It's super comfy.
