Buying Nvidia reference design gets you rock solid stability and reliability and AYYMD can't even support their shit as long as Nvidia has with Tesla microarchitecture GPUs getting 10 years of rock solid driver support & Fermi going on to 7 years next year

Nvidia was far better with frequent updates. Even if it was crash on this update fix in the next. It wasn't crash for 4 months and then crash for another 4 months.

I don't expect it to be smooth but I don't expect drivers to take 4 months either.

I have this exact issue with my MSI R9 390, but it's a black screen for good until restart. I've tried libre and prop. Drivers to boot.
