so with each month websites like youtube, facebook or 4chan with 4chanx are loading longer and longer, recently this old crap stopped smoothly playing 720p videos (but only online)
and youtube now takes between 15-30 seconds to load

is there anything I can do other than getting new laptop or am I cucked by RETARDED WEB DEVELOPMENT?

stay away from VP8,VP9 or H.265/HEVC codecs. Play only with H.264 and get this browser extension, h264ify, in order to do that.
And make sure you have hardware acceleration ON!

do you have a solution for firefox?

I have to force adobe flash usage to view 720p+ videos because the audio/video don't sync. I have no idea whats wrong. It just happened out of the blue.

I think a lot of interactive features on websites kill my performance, javascript and shit I guess
can I do anything about all the flashy animated buttons and all this unnecessary bloat without completely breaking functionality of a website?
