These "private" trackers like to disable users to remind other users how precious their accounts are and make them feel obligated to continue performing illegal acts of seeding copyrighted data. The sites have contests to promote the distribution of copyrighted materials, this month celebrating the end of one site by encouraging uploading the copyrighted materials tracked by that site, offering tracker currency in exchange for illegal uploading. By supporting these trackers you are promoting pyramid scheme theft, and while I can not admire the actions of the MPAA and RIAA, you are choosing to pay thieves instead of people who produce the things you are stealing and will ultimately result in the death of the entertainment industry by piracy of artists work.
