why is it so shit?
I installed it on my server, and as soon as I start any torrent the network connection drops as fast a hitler eating a cyanide pill
Hitler never died.
Deluge or rtorrent are better options. Although transmission is decent so it mighy be user error.

Do they do remote access? I need something to add torrents from my laptop/phone etc
>>57539435
Either your connection is shit or it's your configuration.

Deluge has remote access, I switched to Deluge from Transmission but only because I needed labels.
>>57539435
just use qbittorrent-nox
>>57539580
>Deluge
so far so good, transmission would cut out 30 seconds into downloading

Works perfectly fine on Ubuntu. Try not using Windows for piracy.

fuck

server is running ubuntu 14.04

Bad config? Setup limits a little lower than max broadband speed.
I've got it up and running for years on Raspbian and can't complain. Remote from outside w/o problem. Android client is enough to keep am eye on or add a file

Transmission is fine. Your network settings are shit, or you need to get a better ISP. Alternatively, try Tixati.
I don't recommend using any clients based on libtorrent, because then you'll have issues with torrents permanently stalling. Deluge, qBittorrent, rtorrent and others all use libtorrent libraries and are thus prone to the same bugs.
