ok /g/..
So i'm upgrading my computer and I want to delete everything off of both of my hard drives (One 500GB and the other 1TB).
I tried Googling how to do so, but I get about 20 different ways on how to do it, so how do I wipe my drives the most efficient way possible?
dd if=/dev/null of=/dev/sda

Do a Hillary Clinton. Use bleach bit.
Dban

This is inefficient and insecure.
Find out the low level block size, set that to dd, and use /dev/random
Format the fucking drives you autist
Format, encrypt entire disk
format again.
Done!
