I want to make an n64 emulation station with retropie but I heard even the raspberry pi 3 model B has some issues on some games. Should I just wait till the raspberry pi 4 comes out?

just buy an orange pi/banana pi/whatever instead
>>
>>57512845
How would that work? Isn't it shittier than the pi 3?
>>
>>57512897
there's more models with better performance than the raspberry pi 3
for example the banana pi m3, or the odroid XU4
>>
64 emulation is a bitch in general
>>
so /g/, if the rpi is such a meme, what's honestly better for the price range? I'm looking to do a couple of projects that I'd use a pi for, and I'm looking for alternatives

recommend me something actually worth it, fa/g/s
>>
>>57515065
An anon already recommended the ODROID, what's wrong with that?
>>
>>57515093
not that guy, but are there any others in that range? I see that anon also mentioned the banana pi m3, but I like to usually go for 3-5 items to compare and research.

I have a couple projects that I would really love to have a decent little board in.

the main thing is the XU4 is $70+, and the C2 is still more expensive than the pi, just with better specs, which is really nice.

I'm looking for something cheaper than the pi, and the specs on the pi are good enough for projects I might want to do
