Bought a new battery for Note 4 cus old battery drains fast after 15%. New battery shuts off my phone randomly and it seems to freeze the phone but with the screen off. Enjoy your Chinese made Li-ion. This is why pretty much everything with a replaceable battery sucks balls. It gives them a chance to use cells made in Malaysia or Korea the first go around, which is subpar, but works. Then when that battery can't hold a charge, you have to deal with only Chinese cells until you get so irritated that you just buy a new phone.

I don't have a guide but it's quite easy.
Optimally you want to charge it with 3.3-4.2 volts on the + and - contacts, .2v higher than the voltage of the battery atm.

In practice though you can go with even 5v but not for too long, just hold it there. The main risk is the internal protection tripping but that should unlock when it gets the right voltage.

Just strip the wires of a wall wart close to the 4.2v and hold it to the contacts, I've done this. Low that 3.4v or so won't charge it tho.

Or you can buy a battery charger.

Yeah I got a Pixel so I could switch to Fi and I am happy with it. Judging by specs I thought it would be a letdown. It's pretty cool being able to switch carriers at will. I hardly use any data so the rollover is really beneficial to me.

The Pixel isn't near stock. It's googles take on android, much like touchwiz is samsungs take on android. They make some pretty huge changes on pixel too, probably bigger than samsung has made post-S3 (ie getting rid of drawer button).

The OP3 will hands down have the most rom support m8, no other phone will come close. Samsung devices and HTC devices will have some support due to their general popularity, but it's a clear downgrade from Nexus/OP tier.

I know the rn3p is considered to have superior fingerprint reader and maybe even build quality to the k6000p but I'm in Germany and the rn3p doesn't support lte band 20 /800mhz so I wouldn't have full LTE functionality. Power would also have full LTE functionality.

I own a Vive and honestly, mobile VR is 100x more appealing than PC VR.
As soon as you realise the human restraints on VR, due to VR sickness, all you have are shitty shooting gallery games.
To use a Vive, you have to switch on your base stations (Because there's no standby mode), then you have to turn on Steam VR, pray that it detects everything, clean your room, stand in the middle of it for the entire duration and get bored because there's nothing to fucking play.
Mobile VR is really fucking easy, and my Pixel XL and Daydream headset are fucking incredible.

It won't be so easy just to port all the custom roms to the 3T due different drivers most probably.
I doubt the 3T will have as much community support as the original OP3.

Secondly, the fucking battery capacity increase is gained by increasing the voltage.

And most importantly, you cannot order the original OP3 anymore.

My 6P died on me at the weekend, I fixed the screen a while back so no warranty. I'm using a friend's spare iPhone 6 but will probably end up going back to Android.

My question is: how good are chinkphones compared to western flagships? I'm too poorfag to go for a Pixel / S7 / other similar phone and don't really wanna go for another 6P; I like the idea of decent specs for half the price of a western phone but
1. I hate shitty Android skins
2. I don't want a shitty camera which seems like where western flagships really have the most ground
3. I don't want a phone that won't get any updates and when it all falls apart for there to be no support because nobody else owns one
