Hey /g/, not completely tech-related but recently applied at a Micro Center and passed the two interviews. Now just waiting on results for bg and drug test. Still haven't signed any papers yet. I know they have to push getting emails and warranties but I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience working at one. Lots of people rating it good/bad so it seems like an even split on glassdoor/indeed.

bumpan once for interests.
It's a retail job. Just because it's with computer parts doesn't mean you won't just be scanning and working a check-out counter.

1st interview didn't really feel like much of an interview. Only got asked like two questions, why do I want to work there and how I handled an upset customer. 2nd interview was very similar, only real difference was being explained exactly what the job entailed.
You will probably will not get a position in the build it yourself area
Got to work up to that
Kiss some ass etc

you're going to have to upsell old people stuff they don't want or need like "professional" installation of anti-virus software. you should've just gotten an A+ cert and then a job elsewhere
