Just get the 27' 1440p IPS korean monitors that can overclock. They are like $200 on ebay. Should be able to get 90hz guaranteed, with some going up 120hz.

2 monitors is a huge improvement over a single monitors. 3 monitors is nice to have. If you can afford it then get 3.

1440p vs 1080p is a big difference. You will notice it as soon as you use it. The 1440p 144hz monitors are a meme and not worth $1k. But if you can get the korean ones on ebay for cheap then it is worth it.

Also it depends on your hearing and level of noise in the room ie if you have a computer right next to you and your hearing isn't really sensitive to high pitch noises or the way everything is set up stops the noise bouncing directly into your ear then it's not a problem obviously.

I find a lot of monitors in general are noisy as shit even at normal settings though this is much MUCH less common since LED backlighting became a thing.
