Is there a way to get youtube videos with view source? On Chrome.
I can get videos this way from other sites, but not from youtube. I want the source video (ie: max resolution available for that video) without having to use a downloader if it can be done.
I need a hint, or recommend me one that you trust and has max quality enabled without premium.
The following have been used and discarded:
Dvdvideosoft (went freemium and locks the quality at 720p)
Youtube Downloader 5.1 (kept duplicating the explorer.exe endlessly)
youtube-dl

4k video downloader, I know it sounds like one of those crappy applications with tons of adware, but it's quite good actually

Isn't Youtube one of those sites that split up the video in tiny parts when streaming it to you, so you can't find it by source code or any other easy way.

this
anything else is for plebs
also it supports a ton of sites including porn
I used clipconverter earlier because I didn't bother with youtube-dl, nowadays it says that it can't download clips with music though.

How is it then?
OP here, thank you for all the replies.
I'm going to try all of these out and then go on my merry way.
