need your help /g/
I got a graduation project coming up and decided to do a small android app for it, something that shows where the cheapest/closest seller of something is, something like a product finder but IRL rather than the internet.
anyway im clueless on where to begin, only know a bit of java.

Find another project.
1. download sdk
2. make app
3. hand in
1. Think about the data itself, how are you going to feed it, what kind of data it is?
2. Create a backend for it (simple REST api). I would love to do something similar to check out Phoenix framework.
3. Check out how to create an app, should be simple.

Would probably be simple text info, wont be anything complex, there would need to be a search function since its a product finder, any recommendations here?
The tricky part is i said it would record locations too and find the closest one to the user, so would need to use geolocation on the phone.

have you made anything more than a calculator
Sorry to break it to you OP, but you're too inexperienced (and possibly retarded) to pull this off. It sounds like less work than it is. You're like one of those kids who starts a game development course thinking they'll be making the next GTA as their first project.
