i work daily with Illustrator/PS/InDesign/Maya and 4gb are too low.
I have a Thinkpad i5-4200m with 8gb and till now i had 0 problems,so i recommend you min.8gb and a better CPU.

Figured, thanks for the input. I know i5 / 8GB is the ideal setup for that kind of stuff (because I already have it on my desktop), I just haven't heard much about the m3 and that price point was appealing. I guess I'll just keep looking around then, maybe check cyber Monday deals
