I have thought about it. How are the drivers? I need a good trackpad at least with the Chromebook. For browsing 4chan and YouTube a lower rez screen is ok especially if it's going to give me more battery life.

I've had no issues with drivers on my Chromebook. Currently running Arch. Beware that it is a little bit of a hassle to flash the BIOS depending on which chromebook you get.

Yea I have heard that in the past. Only issue with getting a Chromebook is that I can never run Windows on it even if I needed it for whatever reason.
