hey guys
I'm building a website where I have a tonne of equal sized picture tiles filling a huge <div> on the screen
how can I make the div get smaller when the browser window is smaller, but have it round down to the content size
container size: 1000px wide
tiles: 100px wide
if the window is stretched to 990px wide, how do I stop it from being scrolable and move the extra tile to the next line (instead of being bigger than the window)

basically I want it to round the div size down to the nearest 50px otherwise the tiles are out of place
is this something I'd need javascript for? I don't use javascript...
if (window width/50 /= whole number)
{
round down div width
}
or something?
also can I make javascript do a different action depending on the screen size?

Just set tile's display property to inline-block and don't set the container's width.

messed it up even more

Just use WPF.
Look up responsive design. Try bootstrap.
