If Koreans can do cheap nuclear, so can your country. But why isn't it?

Today Samsung issued a recall for it's series of low cost nuclear reactors. Due to repeated instances of exploding cores, it is recommended that all operators deactivate the plutonium core, and return it to your certified Samsung dealer. If your country is still inhabitable, a replacement core will be issued when the issues causing the explosive meltdowns have been fully addressed.
A company representative was quoted as saying "what the fuck did you expect?"
they were launching fusion test reactors in germany in 2014.
What came out of it? is it dead?

Scientists are probably. Fusion is too disruptive a technology for Mossad and the CIA to ever allow to see the light of day.

The west has lost its ability to construct big projects without making them into political pork clusterfucks

American anti-nuclear hysteria leaked into Canada in the 80s after 3 Mile Island.
Since then we've built no new major reactors and our once massively bustling economic sector in medical isotopes has slowly died due to losing every facility that makes them one by one due to no upgrades/maintenance slowly killing every reactor until it shuts down.
I think Chaulk River Laboratories is the only one left.
Another dent on the Canadian dollar and moving even closer to a banana republic oil only economy. Which is evne then getting killed as protests are blocking all 3 expansions to out oil pipelines needed to move oil out of the country into the market.

ITER should be completed by 2019. It's sad USA has given up on fusion, MIT were doing good shit.
