How do I search for a bugging device myself?
This is in a very, very small office/boardroom setting. It's more of a face to face meeting place so the phoneline isn't something I'm concerned about. I doubt there's a camera, probably just audio.
Any tips on how or where I should be looking?
it's a complicated process, but bugs tend to transmit which means radio signals. if you can scan for and detect radio signals then you should be able to pinpoint bugs. software defined radio can help do this on the cheap. you might want to go to a private investigator or professional service and ask for suggestions on which bug scanner to buy.

There are also the bugs that just record. Fancy pants ones are sensitive enough to be placed on the outside of your house quick and be retrieved later. Need a sensitive EM detector for that like the ones they use to find ghosts.
