I know this board isn't for tech support, but I'm in a real bind here. I need this laptop, I have nothing else. It's an ASUS G75-VW.

I was working on a project in Blender when all of a sudden everything froze and there was rainbow colours and squares all over the screen. I forced a shutdown by holding the power button. When I restarted it, I was greeted by a black screen with just backlight, no BIOS flash, no nothing.

I tried every solution I know:
>Removing the battery and AC adapter, holding power button for 30s, then rebooting: nothing.
>Reseating RAM and hard drives: nothing.
>Using an external screen via VGA and HDMI: nothing.
>Praying: obviously nothing.

Is it my GPU dead? Can I fix this? I need some help here, I'm going into hysterics.

I don't have a heat gun, and I don't trust myself to take apart the laptop and put it back together correctly.
