Mouse Thread
What do you use, and how do you like it?
I'm looking for recommendations, I recently switched from consoles and built my first PC and need a decent mouse. I don't do any competitive gaming, so looking for something that will be good for most casual games as well as normal web browsing and stuff
>your favorite mouse hasn't been in production in over a decade
why live?
>perfect sensor
>Omron switches all round
>comfy shape
>adjustable weight
>RGB lighting if you're into that
>comfy as fuck PBT shell
>no bloatware, just plug and play
Only negatives are the sensor position (it's set a bit far back) and the empty weight (120g).
>using a g502 for a year now
>thinking of side grading to a g403 or zowie fk-*
Should I?
I hate the Razer meme image and don't wanna buy one or be seen using one, but I have to say I tried a couple of their mouses out the other day and they felt great. Is there anything non-razer that's similar to the deathadder?

Probably a Steelseries Rival, or one of Zowie's mice. They all share a similar ergonomic shape.
I'm thinking of getting the g403. It has the same sensor as the g502 without the dpi meme buttons. It also sort of has the deathadder shape.

Babbys first mouse he bought with his own money. Only options are:
Any roccat optical
Mionix castor
Ducky secret
New FK1/2 revisions
G skill mouse
If you're a mouth breathing palm gripper the rival 700 (g users hands are big enough so this won't work anyway baby dicks)
my g400 is dying after about 4 years of use, where do i go now?

I personally think the deathadder is the only razer product that's 100% reasonable to purchase. Its pretty much perfect until it starts double clicking, which you can kind of fix.
There's also lots of good logitech mice, pretty much any G-series one is good
g602. Lag free wireless and forgetable battery life. Also has more than enough buttons that don't get in the way.
I might get another since it might get discontinued in favor of the g900.

i like it

>pbt
wont it break easily?

I have both the g402 and g502. Both are amazing, but I would recommend the g502 if you game more, and the g402 if you browse more. The g502 is slightly heavier on the wrist

Doesn't feel like it will, the shell's really thick. PBT is stronger than ABS anyway.
Plus, there's no coating to peel/flake/otherwise wear off over time.

I had been using G400 and bought this recently because I can't move my right arm too much right now. 9 comfies/10, the software options are little buggy (might be the fault of win 7) and the scroll wheel is attached on a plastic arm. Usually the wheel's axle is in guides and is supported by a button switch and a spring. Here it is fixed in the plastic arm that touches the switch, so you can't take out the spring to make the middle button press lighter. Also, they could put at least one button more in there (for the ring finger like in Elecom). I actually wanted to buy Elecom but the shipping would take too long. I'm considering enabling acceleration since with the current speed it's not precise enough to select single letters comfortably and I can't cover the whole screen in one swipe as well.
