I think the big mistake they made is that they rapidly dropped this onto everyone instead of gradually ramped it up. They should have just killed off the Air line and replaced them with variants of the 12" MacBook, then do the Pro line last. Dual core i5, 8GB base RAM and 2 USB-C ports on the low tier models is just a joke on regular consumers buying "Pro" models.

All you had to do was put two USB3 A ports on the right side and everyone would be happy

What bios/uefi/whatever system does apple use?
On my laptop I have to press f12 or something to go into menus, can you do the equivalent on the new macs?
I mean, the emoji bar might not be the most reliable thing to use at the early stages booting the computer.

Or do apple laptops not have this sort of thing?
