Why is there no monitor general?
I'm looking for a 144hz screen. Preferably under $350. I can't make up my mind? I heard good things from VG248QE and XL2411z but after more research I heard they have really ugly images and they seem to be old now. Maybe viewsonic xg2401?
Or should I wait some more until the new Samsung monitors release?

We have enough fucking generals already
Might as well make /gg/
>Why is there no monitor general?
Please don't.
The reason you're finding your 144Hz monitors have shit color quality is because all 144Hz monitors have shit color quality. Yes, even the 144Hz IPS panels.

My Dell S2716DG would like to have a word with you.

Unless it's here to admit that it's overpriced garbage some colorblind retard will defend to the death to avoid buyer's remorse it can fuck off.

Just get AMD. AMD does colors just fine.

Nothing you do will make colors you see better if the monitor cannot display them. It's like the fruitbats that insist HDR is better when they don't have a monitor that supports HDR. They're like audiophiles but instead of just probably being wrong they're definitely wrong.

1440p or 144hz 1080p?
I've never used past 60hz before
it's actually pretty good.

I wouldn't be against that.

1440p 144hz

Would g sync make it so low framerate games look fine?
I'm looking around and its generally $500-600 for TN and $700+ for IPS 1440p 144hz
Where a 60hz IPS 1440p is $350
basically deciding between this (60Hz, IPS)

And this (144Hz, TN, G sync)

What should I do? Apparently the ROG has great color for being a TN panel and g sync would be helpful at any fps, but it's $170 more than the BenQ...
