What's a good MP3 player that's as good as the Clip Plus and can hopefully be Rockbox'd?
And I don't wanna use my phone, I like having a separate device to conserve on battery and using my phone is a bit too clunky for my liking.
I've got my eye on the FiiO X1 but i'm not sure what else is out there.

Easy as all fuck, and way more economical, time saving, and money saving. It's quicker to check my PDA than to pass through my phone's security, wait to get to the app, wait for it to load, and then tap through it to get what I want.
It's clear there are a bunch of kiddies on this board now with no sense.

My PDA uses $3 batteries that last 3-4 months on one pair. My Zune is charged via my car by default. My tablet is charged on my dock, which I'm needing it for as an extra screen anyway. My phone is charged on my nightstand.

My phone works great for everything, but maybe I just want to get some freedom. It's really nice to go out for a run and not have an actual phone on you.
Just stick some $20 mp3 player in your pocket and not give a fuck if it breaks. Simple and good.
