How do I block these websocket memes? I'm getting tired of seeing ads on porn sites. I got this companion extension but is there anything more to it than this? Is there a filter list somewhere that is necessary or what? I'm still seeing ads on some porn sites.

You need to be 18+ to post here.

I would gladly use firefox if it wasn't a slow clunky piece of trash.
Chrome may not respect my privacy and eat my ram up, but at least it's smooth sailing.

Ad networks noticed the problem and sent a guy to the bug report to spread disinfo

I'm sorry, we can't all be woke 25 year olds that just discovered nofap and how it """LITERALLY""" gives you supernatural abilities.
>uHide

It's not? I'm using it right now with a shitty laptop.

The supernatural ability it gives you is 20 more minutes every day

Guy browsing 4chan is talking about saving time on your day to day, huh.
That's interesting.

nice meme
Install mpv+ytdl for pretty miuch all porn sites.
Aside from all the memes, is there a reason why Chrome lets through more ads than Firefox, even when using the same filters?
>>57383620
Because chromium does not expose websockets to extensions. The bug report has been on the chromium bug tracker for 4 years and has had little development since being posted.

Use dev or nightly which have e10s enabled by default.

You still have to go to the site to get the video url though
Add||$websocketto your filters. If you use a website that relies on websocket you can just add an exception.
