I'm looking to get a Dell Latitude, either a 14" 5000 or 7000 series. Is this a good decision /g/?

great decision, Dell Latitudes are very well built and last forever, loyal customer for a decade and will never buy another kind of laptop tbqh
The only things I don't like on my 7559 (which I bought for 500 euros, used) are the opaque finish, which is like a fucking magnet for fingerprints, and the shitty, non-physical buttons of the touchpad (I never use it anyway). Otherwise, I'm very happy with my decision. For this price, it was a steal deal (I bought it from a leasing company).
Here's my spec if anyone's interested:
i7 6700hq
8GB RAM
4gb 960m
128 GB SSD
1 TB mechanical
4K touch IPS
Backlit keyboard
looks ugly af desu

I have an e6230 and it's been a trooper. Lasted for 4 years thus far, and not a scratch on it. If build quality hasn't decreased in the years since (which is a possibility, so be sure to look up reviews), it's definitely worth a good look.

Great build quality, and like anon said earlier they last forever. They're also very easy to upgrade.

I'm also interested in purchasing one soon. I'll be going with the 14" 5000 series. It has everything I want. Centered keyboard and trackpad, traditional form factor, easily user serviceable, FHD or better display. Also that wireless docking technology thing is so fucking cool. just place the machine on your desk casually and it connects to your monitors and kb+m.
