Fibre is literally the fastest thing to transfer data over long distances and the shit receivers that FTTP in Australia did get are limited to 100/40mbs.

FTTN is a meme that is advertised to elderly showing them that money can be spent on other things other than internet / telecommunications which will keep taxes lower and their 144p porn is acceptable to watch.
