Is BlueStacks an adware or potentially unwanted software?
I don't care about streaming, sometimes I just want to play casual stuff on a bigger screen, killing my phones battery and with a keyboard or gamepad.
Last time I used it it was sliding into annoying bullshit territory but was still ok. It advertised some streaming service every time it launched but otherwise worked ok.
There is some botnet sync features you would like to avoid.
Just download the android developer studio it allows you to emulate games also.
I have never seen it do anything too spooky, but I also disallow it internet access, so I'd say so far so good.

No adware? Bluestacks installing shady stuff was literally one of first links in google.

Do I actually have to sync it with my mobile? Is sharing google play account not enough?
I did click installation application but didn't install it. My computer is a malware now.

it installs a bunch of shit apps in the background, which are then linked to your google account and used to farm 5* ratings & comments. would not recommend.
>get Nox or Developer Studio

Dual boot android x86 it's perfect
I second Nox, clean UI, good tools, comfy keybinding for touch so that key presses will correspond to touch input you define for gaming. Easy to load APKs with drag and drop, easy to put files on and off with share folders
