hey guys, i was wondering how hard/expensive it is to fix a screen on a psp 2000. the one i have i got for free, but half the screen is glitched and its getting worse, and i would like to play some old playstation games on it any and all advice will be taken to heart. TL;DR how hard is it to replace a screen on a psp 2000
>>
Literally would have been faster to order a new one off ebay or ali and install it yourself rather than making a thread for it easy.

bumping for advice

They also could have typed a few words into YouTube to see the entire process.
>>

OP, you can get is for abut $15 or cheaper to the door, and its only a few screws, and about 10 minutes of your time! http://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-Full-LCD-Screen-Display-Replacement-Part-For-SONY-PSP-2000-2001-Slim-/251946591826?hash=item3aa92fe652:g:bjEAAOSwBLlVR0zu

psp emulators for mobile phones are just about 100% compatibility

yea but you can get a PSP off of craigslist for about $20-40 bucks, and you can emulate a ton of systems on it, most without even hacking (there are now 'signed' emulators).

Pretty much this.
Ive taken my old 1000 apart several times.
Got super glue on it... dust inside the cover, etc.

Easy Peazy

Give it back tyrone

how in the fuck do you break the screen in a psp?
i have literally never even heard of this happening to anyone ever
>>
thanks for the replys guys. i had looked up how to do it, and it seemed easy, but i wanted some input from fellow anons who had done it before. and based on what was said it looks like i can get a screen pretty cheap and do it myself.
>>57348238 i got it for free. it seemed fine at first but it quickly got these weird lines running vertically that distort the picture, and it has a line thats just static. i really want to play some old playstation games and get into some of the psp only rpg's. again thanks guys!
