Anyone else still using a Linksys WRT54G?
Mine's been in continuous use for something like 12 years and still works.
Mine's in a box somewhere at my mom's house. There was no need for it after buying a wifi modem like 8 years ago.
Still have it as a back up just in case.
Used to lock itself up all the time on stock firmware if I used torrents and would require a hard reset.

I have seen it in the library on the floor. At home i have a similar but less fancy garbage (zyxel or what).
I use it as a repeater

I remember back in the OP router's heyday, it was common for brand new routers to be shit right out of the box. Random dropped connections, slow speeds, dropped packets, etc.
Today you can buy pretty much any router for over $80 and you'll have something rock solid.
