>>

Not bad, it is a very solid keyboard for that price, just don't expect high build quality from it being so cheap. Ajazz and Magiforce also sell cheap keyboards that are also good.

>btw i opened the thread, is there a designed person for this or anyone who sees thread's gonna end?
no there is no designated person who does these, I've started them a couple of times before when there was no thread around.
If you do tho next time make sure to set the subject to:

Gateron uses a difference in opacity, which is kind of funny if you think about it. So they aren't identical, but they are very close just like cherry greys

Left is linear (I got that from reddit), while right is tactile (I got that from winkeyless)

Honestly I'd rather wireless boards take AA/AAAs so I can just throw a couple Eneloops in there. Li-ion battery packs wear out and then go out of production.
>>
>>57346383
If they use some form of standard internal connector instead of a hardwired battery that isn't an issue. PS3 controllers do that and it's easy as piss to swap packs when they're dead.
>>
>>57346435

That would still be a whole lot less convenient than ordinary cylindrical cells. Not to mention if they run down you just pop in a couple fresh ones and you're good to go for several more months with no plugging anything in ever.

what do you mean? Mechanical switches are far from low profile compared to membrane keyboards.
Do you mean low profile keycaps like g20 (pic related) or DSA
>>
so how hardy would you guys say mechanical keyboards are to static discharge?

I ask because almost every time I scoot forward in my desk chair and touch my keyboard, ready to type, the fucker shuts off and turns back on after about 3 seconds. I'm scared of it eventually killing this thing.

I don't even feel a shock, it just turns off. My computer hangs for a second when it turns back on too.

If you want to buy individual switches you can get them from techkeys, mechanicalkeyboards, massdrop, etc.

If the controller in the keyboard doesn't know how to speak USB through a passive adapter, it's not going to speak it over a swapped cable either.

yes you can buy PCBs, PCB mount switches, and low profile keycaps. The big issue however is the case. you could just have a bare PCB, but I wouldn't recommend it
