the moto G 2014 is under $100 and is sufficient for anybody's needs unless you play games (!) on your phone

it has an officially supported bootloader unlock and the newest roms work on it perfectly. There is no SD card though, but I am sure there is a comparable phone at similar price that has one.

I have a Q10 that I'm using right now. I pre-ordered the G2 when it came out. Used that for a year but accidentally busted it so I got the Q10. Spilled whiskey on it(and probably other shit, I blacked out) and thought I destroyed it. Bought another G2 and used that for a year. Then got a battery for the Q10 and it still works amazingly fast.

I really do prefer the Q10's keyboard but the Passport's isn't too bad. I think most of my issues with it will cease after I get some time to adjust, I've only had the phone for three days. Once I get used to the gestures and all it should be pretty nice.

The screen's pretty nice, only things I really don't like about the phone are that it's not AMOLED and it doesn't have a 4 row keyboard. I also miss having the Q10's removable battery but that's not too big of a deal.
I've got the original factory unlocked version. I was going to switch between my Q10, the Passport, and a Classic that I'm eventually getting based on what I feel like using that day but I didn't realize the Q10 takes a micro SIM while the latter two take nano SIMs. At least I'll still be able to switch between the Classic and Passport though.

I bought the G4 Plus (3 GB RAM version) three months ago because some anon said it was THE phone for someone who wanted quality but didnt want to spend more than 300 dollars on it or import a xiaomi from china, the screen had burn-in issues in the status bar a mere two days after i bought it, i took it back to the store and they just gave me a new one, no questions asked, this seemed a bit fishy and indeed it was, the new phone had the same problem, i gave it back again and they gave me a new one, it lasted a full month before it had the same screen issue like the other two, i dont even get any notifications besides tachiyomi telling me every six hours when a manga gets new chapters or the occasional dead youtuber uploading part X of weeaboo game.

The "fix" was rooting, installing an app that will mess with your phone, calibrating and leaving your screen less bright and with a distinct blue tone, then pretending it doesnt bother you, repeat every time the burn-in issues come back to fuck you in the ass.

This is apparently a very common issue of Lenovorola and you cant do anything to prevent it, ala LG and their bootloops.

Recently replaced the battery on my N5. Planning to dump a decent ROM on it now that support is up. Was doing fine with rooted stock until now.

The smartshit market has gotten saturated so there is really no reason to upgrade imo. The only nice feature would be waterproofing and a higher capacity battery but it's not worth the 600-900USD.

I am so fucking sick of having to change settings every fucking time I want to install something because they insist on fucking having 100 settings inside of it to fucking pry my information from me and monitor me and run 24/7 even though I only use the program for like 10 minutes a week and it constantly fucking checks for updates and updates and pops up and requires 3 confirmations before it closes and it has 4 processes so it's annoying to end the process and then they make you install their fucking software with the program that tries to force you to register and fucking all that shit then you finally go to uninstall it and there's 40 boxes to check to get rid of it and then it'll take you to a web page once you've uninstalled it asking why you want to uninstall it and I don't want to fill a fucking questionnaire out so I close it but then there's a fucking confirmation box that I need to check to confirm that I want to leave this fucking webpage
