I bought the RT N12 D1 to bridge my modem and use this router but it doesn't work and ASUS won't tell me if this shit even got that functionality
Did any anon get theirs working by connecting it to a bridged modem?

If your modem is in bridge mode you can literally use a wizard to connect to your ISP.

It's not working for whatever reason
is this a repeater and not a router?

Does your modem have a network interface? Like, does it have an IP address and if you plug a computer directly into it can you navigate to its configuration page from your web browser?

Either your modem is not correctly configured or this is a dud.

yes
http://192.168.1.1/
it redirects to the modem's configuration page and not the ASUS router's

Okay, what you want to do is on your RT N12 D1 set the LAN interface to the 192.168.0.1 network and on the WAN interface set the IP address to 192.168.1.2 and then plug the modem's network cable into the WAN port on the RT N12 D1.
