I work in tech and I don't make a lot of money
Most people here are college students looking to be frugal and pragmatic with their money or people that are just interested in technology but not doing it as a career.
Only a small chuck of people here actually do work in a tech company or make a living freelancing.
I myself work as a manager for a cafe, but I don't go to /ck/ (anymore) because that board is shit.
