What is the best MPC-HC + madVR + extra shit guide out there? I always used KCP but it started crashing so I want to set it up on my own, but there's 10000 different sources with 10000 different settings. I don't know what to chose.

It depends on your preference and what you are watching. For example you look at a guide for watching anime but you can change the settings to how to want it to be, you don't need to follow what a guide says 100%

Pic related is my settings.

The crackling and pop'ing can't be heard on my $870 dedicated DAC. But on my cheaper O2+ODAC and also motherboard setting it to exclusive audio mode you can hear it distort and crackle.

Make sure everything is up to date (0.68.1 for LAV filters, 0.90.24 for madVR etc) and also try the mpc nightly.
