when I built mine it was POSTing with some error codes, after restyarting it a bunch of times it stopped and booted into the BIOS. never had problems since.

OP, I had this experience on my first build back in the day. Take everything apart, and put it all back together again. Make sure eveything is securely connected to where it should be. It was a pain in the ass, but that worked for me. Also try connecting your monitor to your graphics card, not the Motherboard.
Be patient, and be careful with your hardware.
