I have one. Been using it for years unironically and it keeps my wrist feeling just fine. Whether it alleviates wrist ache I don't know but with the 10+ hours a day I spend using a mouse I imagine it is helping.

Use your desk properly and keep it clean, you should have no wrist problems. You don't have to buy anything, you need to create space for your arms and move your shit back.

I have a cheap Chinese one. It's okay but don't put too much pressure on your wrist over an extended period of time.

My buddy got me this when he was in Japan a few years ago, just as a gag. honestly, I hate using it, I always turn it to the side so the boobs aren't in the way of my mouse. My wife on the other hand fucking loves the thing, which is for the most part the only reason it's even in use.
