Same situation, heavily customized my Firefox Portable for half a decade or more, last crash was August 2012 according to Health Report, upgraded from early versions then adopted ESR so now running 45.4.0 no issues.

26 addons, 14 user scripts, 4 plugins, still loads in 1.5 seconds, nothing to complain about even with all that overhead.

The only browser that matters, Firefox.
