people don't want that, maybe one person in 5000 will want to upgrade his laptop processor rather than buy a new one, it's just not worth it, by the time you buy a modern monitor at 4k or 5k and the latest processor (and use thermal paste to get it in there) and buy a mobo for it

you just bought a new laptop assembled by a hobbyist, better off just buying new since laptops are petty cheap now
