Thinking of buying or making a HTPC and I stumbled across the orange pis.

Anyone here have one? Can they playback smooth 1080p h264 and h264 videos?
Can they also browse the web smoothly?

I know that SOC is super low end, but it's got hardware decoding, doesn't it?

No, just avoid embedded computers altogether for HTPC, hardly any arm boarda have mainline support and flaky as fuck driver support, software/ driver incompatibility regressions everywhere.

Sure its fine if you don't care for autistic levels of quality, I don't and my rpi3's are great for kodi + typical fusion addons.
