I know that the raspberry is a shitty meme but can any affordable single board computer actually be a proper seedbox for a 300/300 FTTH?
>water-cooled raspi
>overclock the fuck out of it
Easy
Just get a nuc
>shitty meme
Maybe to CS autists and hobbyers that don't know how to use it

Start with the Wikipedia SBC comparison page.

Not even close to being a meme. If you actually know what you're doing they're useful as hell.
It'd work fine for a seedbox. You probably won't get 300/300 out of it seeing as it doesn't have SATA. The ethernet port shares the USB bandwidth.
Get an odroid c2. Same price, nearly twice the CPU and memory.

I have one running as a low end seedbox.
Needed something very small.
Using an external drive for storage, and it's running 4 instances of Deluge with around 200 torrents each. Not sweating at all yet.
Have also it set up with my VPN subscription and a killswith.
Works perfectly fine, but low end means low performance.
- Ethernet speeds are around 8-10 MB/s, if it's not working hard on something else. Then somewhat lower.
-Re-checking torrents takes a while.
-The external HD should have its own power supply.
Been running 24/7 for 6 months. Haven't found any other downsides.
Great for the price.
Went with a Raspberry over odroid/banana/orange just because it's the most widespread/tested.
Didn't want to (possibly) deal with kernel, driver or other bugs.

No.

Cubieboard 2/Banana Pi/Orange Pi fit the bill (the versions with A20 chip (w/ Native SATA) and Gigabit Ethernet).

I'm buying one now.

Am I talking about SJWs or anti-SJWs?

how is it in terms of fan noise and gaming?
especially interested in the new i3 ones and lower

Odroid.

How many actual technological improvements was achieved by womyn?

OrangePi can do 80mbit, but if you want more it's better to get proper (non-atom) x86 board.
Would the r-pi or some variant work as a daily driver for an old lady who just wants to surf, type, and occasionally print?

This if you want full speed. A J1900 will do it and only pull 10w.
