6600K here at 4.4ghz, a low overclock running on an budget air cooler, andgetting 2250 on Single Thread bench, which is almost 60% more.

The problem with laptops is gaming. Thats the only real problem I have atleast.

The cpus are more than enough for 99% of us, but the gpus.. There are so few models you actually can upgrade the gpus, they are expensive as hell most of the time and the ones that have good cooling and a gpu you can upgrade are so fucking big and heavy you could just use a mini itx for gaming and a cheapo small laptop to bring with you elsewhere.
