looks like Windows has detected a hard disk problem lad
>>57189405
Buy a new hard disk? Did you fell for the SSD meme and you reached the end of its lifespan?
You disable the error reporting message.
>>57189437
Can gentoo fix this
>>57189437
Thats a samshit 5400rpm hdd, lad.
>>57189405
reformat your hard drive.
(i suppose your already saved your files before re-installing win8)
>>57189453
Gentoo can fix anything. By adding so many more problems that you don't notice this one.
>>57189405
>buying a Seagate drive
You asked for it.
>>57189464
Didn't work
I had this on a hard disk when I installed win10 in beta. Did every low level test possible but windows still whined. disk was about 4 years old, never any problems, still working fine and used almost every day. It is a bug in window's error reporting.
>>57189507
Same
My disk is around 4 years old and problem started showing up after installing win 10
>>57189405
Are you serious?
Why are you on this board you fucking retard.
How were you able to install windows if you can't understand this message.
Obviously your hard drive is failing, run a SMART test (google it retard) to confirm. And get another one. Hard drives are cheap as fuck.
Next time something like this happens go to the stupid questions thread because this question is fucking stupid.
>>57189527
Yeah sure
>>57189502
then try to go to the manufacturer's site, and look for a proprietary low-level formating application that can boot from an USB key.
Try passmark
>Windows "taking hours" to boot
>literally tells you it's the hard drive
>"what do"
